~ Mercedes-Benz drivers to save time with TomTom HD Traffic ~
Geneva Motor Show, 6 March 2013 – Today TomTom announces that Daimler will equip its upcoming Mercedes-Benz vehicles with TomTom HD Traffic. With access to TomTom's accurate, up-to-date and comprehensive traffic information, Mercedes-Benz drivers will get to their destinations faster, saving time and fuel.
TomTom HD Traffic will be available for Mercedes-Benz customers in 12 countries throughout Europe* starting this summer. The real-time traffic information will automatically be included in the high-end COMAND navigation system as a three year service.

"TomTom HD Traffic meets the highclass quality requirements of Mercedes who wants to provide the best navigation experience to its drivers and offer them a more predictable journey."
According to recent independent research**, TomTom's traffic information saves commuters 50 minutes of travel per week or about 40 hours per year. Mercedes-Benz customers can regain a full work week annually by using TomTom HD Traffic.
* TomTom HD Traffic information will be available this summer in Luxembourg, Germany, the United Kingdom, France, Italy, Belgium, Spain, the Netherlands, Switzerland, Portugal, Austria and Denmark.
