Amsterdam, 8 October 2015 – TomTom announces that the Extraordinary General Meeting voted in favour of the proposed appointment of Taco Titulaer (44) as new member of the Management Board of TomTom NV for a first term of four years, effective as of today.
Taco Titulaer was appointed as Chief Financial Officer of the company on 1 August 2015. He succeeded Marina Wyatt, who left the company in July this year.
"With his wealth of financial experience and understanding of the company and the market the Supervisory Board has strong confidence that Taco will further contribute to TomTom's growth strategy", says Peter Wakkie, Chairman of the Supervisory Board.
Taco Titulaer, a Dutch national, joined TomTom in 2005 and since then has held several management positions in Group Control, Treasury, Mergers & Acquisitions and Investor Relations. He is based at the company's headquarters in Amsterdam, The Netherlands.
