The Board of Tomra Systems ASA appoints Tove Andersen as President and CEO for the TOMRA Group
The board of directors of Tomra Systems ASA has appointed Tove Andersen (b.
1970) as new President and CEO of TOMRA Group. Tove joins from Yara
International ASA where she has had a successful international career for 24
years, most recently as Executive Vice President Europe.
Tove brings extensive international industrial experience. During her 24 years,
she held several positions in Yara International spanning operational and
strategic responsibilities of increasing scope. She has been Executive Vice
President, Production, Executive Vice President, Supply Chain and has had
several management roles within Yara and Norsk Hydro/Yara. She started in Norsk
Hydro in 1997.
Tove holds a master's degree in Business Administration from BI Norwegian
Business School and a master's degree in physics and mathematics from the
Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU).
The current President and CEO, Stefan Ranstrand, announced in October 2020 his
desire to step down during 2021. As requested by the Board, he will continue as
President and CEO until Tove takes over. Tove will take over at the latest 1[st]
November 2021.
