Tivoli, 28 December 2009

Tivoli – Stock Exchange Announcement no. 13 – 2009

Due to a lack of visitors during the COP 15 meeting in Copenhagen, Tivoli has decided to lower the expectations for pre-tax profits, which have hitherto been 30 – 40 million DKK for 2009.

After the downward adjustment the expectations for pre-tax profits in 2009 is 20-30 million DKK.

"We have lost 100,000 visitors during the climate conference, since many Danes chose to stay away from the Copenhagen city area for fear of demonstrations and traffic chaos. Also, the climate conference participants have not visited Tivoli in any large numbers. This means that visitor numbers, and in turn the finances in general, have decreased to a degree where we find, we cannot meet former expectations," says Tivoli CEO Lars Liebst.

Visitor numbers for Tivoli's Christmas season will be announced on 4 January 2010.
