This is further to Company's earlier communication dated April 03, 2021 and May 19, 2021, we are pleased to inform that the Company is receiving overwhelming response for Type-lV Composite cylinders for CNG for application in Cascade and On-Board. Our Company has already received approval from Government nominated authority i.e. Petroleum and Explosives Safety Organization (PESO) for Type-IV CNG cylinders for both applications.
Under the Government's initiative of "MAKE IN INDIA", we are the first and only Company who has received approval for Type-IV Composite cylinder for application in CNG Cascade and On-Board. The Company is happy to inform that it has received prestigious order from a multinational Gas Distribution Company through subsidiary in India for 50 nos. of Cascades for value in excess of INR 35 crores (appx). Including this, the total order booking for Type-IV Composite cylinder for application in CNG Cascade and On-Board is INR 85 crores (appx). Leo
The overall potential for Type-IV Composite Cylinders for CNG Cascade and On-Board Application is very very huge considering the Government guidelines for installation of 10,000 new CNG gas filling stations in the next 8 years' time and 2,200 mobile refueling units in next 4 years. The total estimated market size for CNG Cascade and On Board Application is estimated over INR 20,000 Crores in the period of next 8 — 10 years.
Type-IV Composite Cylinders have various advantages over metal cylinders such as no corrosion / rusting, light weight, long useful life and above all explosion proof. In addition there are several RFQs / Tender at advanced stage of finalization with various Gas Distribution Companies / Institutions where the company is participating. /
