REFFIND launches free emergency beacon

product to it’s mobile platform with the launch of a free emergency beacon. The beacon will let organisations check on employees during emergencies or catastrophic events, quickly accounting for the safety of each individual.

The REFFIND emergency beacon sends an ‘are you ok?’ card to every employee’s phone. The employee simply swipes right if they are okay, so employers know immediately if any of their staff need help.

Jamie Pride, co-founder and managing director, REFFIND, said, “Varying threats such as terrorism or natural disasters are significant causes for concern for companies. REFFIND saw the need for a concrete way for companies to help employees. The emergency beacon lets employers do a roll call of employees, fast. That means, if someone needs help, they can get it sooner.

“By implementing this feature companies can demonstrate they take their duty of care seriously. It’s an easy way to check employees are safe in case of emergency and ensure any support is directed to where it may be needed.
