Directorate Changes

FW Thorpe Plc announces that Mr Tony Cooper will retire from his role, as Executive Director of the Company, however, will remain on the Board as Non-Executive Director, with effect from 2 April 2020.

Mike Allcock, Chairman of FW Thorpe Plc commented:

"We would like to take this opportunity to thank Tony for his determination, achievements and dedication to the Group for over 21 years.

During his tenure, Tony has been instrumental in supporting the growth of the business and navigating the many different challenges, including technological revolutions and the adoption of a number of essential new manufacturing processes.  He has contributed significantly to the ongoing success of a number of Group companies, in particular, the Thorlux and TRT businesses, which are testimony to his efforts over the years.

I am sure that our employees, shareholders and stakeholders alike will join us in wishing Tony all the best for his retirement.  We look forward to his ongoing support as a non-executive."
