Thorney Technologies Ltd (ASX: TEK) – Trading Halt

Description

The securities of Thorney Technologies Ltd (‘TEK’) will be placed in trading halt at the request of TEK, pending it releasing an announcement. Unless ASX decides otherwise, the securities will remain in trading halt until the earlier of the commencement of normal trading on Monday, 5 July 2021 or when the announcement is released to the market.

Thorney Technologies Ltd - request for trading halt

Thorney Technologies Ltd (ACN 096 782 188) (ASX:TEK) (“ TEK ”) requests that an immediate trading halt be granted by the Australian Securities Exchange (“ ASX ”) with respect to its ordinary shares in accordance with Listing Rule 17.1.

In accordance with Listing Rule 17.1, we advise that:

• the trading halt is requested pending an announcement by TEK in relation to an impending equity raising ( Capital Raising ), so that it can manage its disclosure obligations, maintain an orderly market in the trading of its shares, and ensure that trading does not take place in an uninformed market;

• TEK wishes the trading halt to remain in place until it releases an announcement in relation to the Capital Raising, or until the commencement of trading on Monday 5 July 2021, whichever is earlier;

• TEK expects that the trading halt will be ended by it making an announcement to ASX in relation to the Capital Raising; and

• TEK is not aware of any reason why the trading halt should not be granted, nor is it aware of any other information required to be provided to the market or ASX in relation to the trading halt.
