RIGHTS ISSUE CLOSURE AND NOTICE OF SHORTFALL

Australian Renewable Fuels Limited (ARW) announces that its recent non‐renounceable rights issue of 2 new shares for every 3 existing shares with an attaching option (Rights Issue) closed on 3 November 2010 with the following results:

Total number of new shares on offer:	497,063,390
Total number of shares validly applied for:	294,489,826
Number of applications received	871
Total shortfall:	202,573,564

The Rights Issue is fully underwritten and ARW confirms that in accordance with the terms of the underwriting agreement with Bell Potter Securities Limited (the Underwriter) it has issued a shortfall notice to the Underwriter.

The new shares are expected to be issued on 9 November 2010 and the dispatch of holding statements is expected to be on 11 November 2010.
