Dear Sir

Australian Renewable Fuels Limited (ARF) is pleased to confirm the completion of the sale of the Picton property as announced in January 2009 for a net cash benefit of approximately \$2 million. The land sale (completed with Kingslane Pty Ltd of Perth, WA) leaves the company with the ownership of the land under the Picton operating facility, with the residual area being divested.

"The land sale completes the announced financial restructuring of the company" said Chief Executive Tom Engelsman. "With the stated focus on value added opportunities for the business, both in the basic biodiesel business as well as in other related areas, we believe that the company can benefit from the broad renewable energy sector. With a solid installed operating asset base, the company can be part of the extensive carbon reduction industry. At present, ARF has the largest installed production base in Australia"

ARF has a total capacity of 90 million litres of biodiesel fuel per annum, as well as manufacturing certain derivative products. The company has the ability to leverage its products and services into other related sectors, focused on the overall renewable energy and carbon reduction opportunities.

Yours Sincerely,

Tom Engelsman

CEO
