Appointment of non-executive independent Director

The Board of Australian Renewable Fuels Limited (ASX: ARW) are pleased to announce the appointment of Ms. Deborah Page AM as a non-executive independent director of the Company.

Ms Page has been appointed as Chair of the Company’s Audit Committee.

Ms Page AM brings financial expertise developed from a diverse range of finance and operational executive roles and from her professional background in external audit and corporate advisory. Ms Page was a partner in Touche Ross/KPMG Peat Marwick until 1992, and subsequently held senior executive positions with the Lend Lease Group, Allen Allen and Hemsley and the Commonwealth Bank.

Ms Page is the current Chairman & independent director of Investa Listed Funds Management Limited, the responsible entity of Investa Office Fund, and is a nonexecutive director of Service Stream Limited. Ms Page is also a non-executive director of The Colonial Mutual Life Assurance Society Limited and Commonwealth Insurance Limited. She has previously been a non-executive director of Macquarie Generation and Chairman of the Cancer Council of New South Wales and Ascalon Capital Managers Limited.

Ms Page is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants, a Member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and holds a Bachelor of Economics (USyd).
