Thor Mining plc ('the Company') (AIM, ASX: THR) announces that, further to the announcement which was made on 13 August 2013, it posted a circular to shareholders on 16 August 2013. The circular contained notice of a general meeting ("Meeting") which is to be held at 10:00am (UK time) on Tuesday 3 September 2013 at the offices of Grant Thornton UK LLP, 30 Finsbury Square, London, EC2P 2YU.
