The securities of Thor Energy Plc ('THR') will be placed in trading halt at the request of THR, pending it releasing an announcement. Unless ASX decides otherwise, the securities will remain in trading halt until the earlier of the commencement of normal trading on Monday, 13 May 2024 or when the announcement is released to the market.

TRADING HALT REQUEST

Thor Energy Plc (“Thor” or the “Company”) (AIM, ASX: THR), requests a trading halt be placed on its securities immediately, pending an announcement to the market in relation to a capital raising.

The Company provides the following in support of its trading halt request, pursuant to ASX Listing Rule 17.1:

• The trading halt is requested whilst the Company is undertaking a capital raising;
• The trading halt is expected to be lifted by no later than commencement of trading on Monday, 13 May 2024, pending release of an announcement by the Company in relation to the capital raising;
• The Company is not aware of any reason that a trading halt should not be granted; and
• The Company is not aware of any other information necessary to inform the market about the trading halt.
