Re: Immediate report - Monetary Lawsuit filed by Phoenix Insurance (Subsidiary) in the amount of approximately NIS 550 million for damage to Israeli property insured by Phoenix InsuranceThe Company announces that The Phoenix Insurance Company Ltd., a subsidiary of the Company (�Phoenix Insurance�), filed on January 11, 2026, a monetary lawsuit in the Jerusalem District Court in the amount of approximately NIS 550 million against the Palestinian Authority (�PA�), for alleged liability for damages caused to it following the theft of about 6,000 vehicles insured by Phoenix Insurance, which were allegedly transferred to PA territories between 2018 and 2025.Phoenix Insurance claims that the PA is violating its obligations under the Oslo Accords, which have been incorporated into Israeli law regarding the protection of Israeli property and even cooperates with the vehicle theft industry.Professional opinions supporting and substantiating Phoenix Insurance�s claims were attached to the statement of claim.Simultaneously with the filing of the lawsuit, Phoenix Insurance submitted an urgent request for a one-sided temporary foreclosure order on PA funds held by the State of Israel, in order to ensure the possibility of collecting the judgment and to protect the rights of Phoenix Insurance.It is hereby clarified that, at this stage, it is not possible to determine the likelihood of success of the claim filed by Phoenix Insurance, nor to predict its outcome, the duration of the proceedings, and/or Phoenix Insurance�s ability to enforce any judgment against the PA in due course, should Phoenix Insurance prevail in the claim. false
