Re: A decision issued by Haifa Regional Labor Court - approval of motion for approval of a claim as a class action against The Phoenix Insurance Company Ltd. (Subsidiary)On May 24, 2024, the Haifa Regional Labor Court issued a decision approving the motion for approval of the claim as a class action (the "Approval Decision") filed against a subsidiary of the Company, The Phoenix Insurance Company Ltd. ("Phoenix Insurance" and the "Defendant"), which concerns the allegation that Phoenix Insurance breached its contractual obligation with regard to the insurance period in a permanent health insurance, as reflected in the insurance offer, in contrast to the policys provisions regarding age for insurance purposes; the lawsuit also deals with the claim that as part of the engagement, The Phoenix Insurance did not provide fair disclosure regarding the insurance end date (see detailed in the immediate report of June 6, 2022 (reference number 2022-01-057459) and in note 43A1(43) To the Company's financial statements for December 31, 2023, (reference number 2024-01-026677).As part of the approval decision, it was determined, inter alia, that the group on whose behalf the class action will be conducted is all of the Defendant's policyholders who were insured by the Defendant's permanent health insurance between May 19, 2015 (seven years before the date of filing the lawsuit) and May 19, 2022, in a limited manner with respect to only two appendices as defined in the Approval Decision, and when the definition of the " age for insurance purposes" qualification as raised in the proceeding by the Defendant, applies in their case according to the conditions set forth in the Approval Decision. Phoenix Insurance is studying the Approval Decision and considering its next steps, and in its assessment as long as the Approval Decision remains in place, it is expected to have a negligible impact on the company. false
