EMIS Group plc ("the Company") announces that on 4 September 2017 an award of options over 21,953 ordinary shares of one pence each in the Company was made to Andy Thorburn (Chief Executive Officer) under the Company's Long Term Incentive Plan ("Options") as part of his recruitment and incentivisation arrangements. The Options granted are nil-cost and exercisable from 1 May 2020 and are subject to performance conditions.

Following the grant of these Options Andy Thorburn holds a total of 66,471 Options over ordinary shares in the Company.
