The Board of Directors (the "Board") of The Mall of Cyprus (MC) PLC (the "Company") refers to the Company's announcement dated 8 November 2016 in relation to the expansion of the Mall of Cyprus (the "Mall").
The Board is pleased to further announce that the Company has obtained the planning permit and building permit which will allow the commencement of the works to the expansion of the Mall. The said planning permits allow for the Mall to be expanded by extending the North-ern side of the existing Mall building, with new retail and parking areas being constructed on the existing ground floor parking level.
Construction is programmed to commence on 1 September 2017. The additional retail area following the expansion of the Mall will improve the Mall's fashion offering and tenant mix as well as create an attractive and functional food court and restaurant section.
