ISS Recommends shareholders VOTE AGAINST ALL Resolutions at the Requisitioned General Meeting

The Board of The European Smaller Companies Trust PLC notes the publication of the voting recommendation from ISS, the independent proxy adviser, in relation to the Company's forthcoming general meeting to be held on 5 February 2025 at 12.30 p.m (the "Requisitioned General Meeting").

ISS has recommended that ESCT shareholders VOTE AGAINST ALL resolutions at the Requisitioned General Meeting due to be held on 5 February 2025.

This recommendation is in line with the unanimous recommendation of the Company's Board which has previously encouraged shareholders to VOTE AGAINST All resolutions proposed at the Requisitioned General Meeting for the reasons set out in the Circular posted to shareholders on 8 January 2025 and available on the Company's website here:  www.janushenderson.com/general-meeting-esct/
