The Board of Baronsmead Venture Trust plc today announces that Christina McComb has informed the Board of her intention to retire as a Director of the Company with immediate effect in order to focus on other business interests.

The Board therefore intends to withdraw resolution number 6 as set out in the Notice of Annual General Meeting relating to her re-election as a director.
