INTERIM STATEMENT November 8 REGULATED INFORMATION
th, 2019
The activities of the TEXAF group in the DRC have developed as follows over the course of the 3rd quarter.
• Rents generated by the real-estate activities (renting of residential property and office space in Kinshasa) reached EUR 4.8 m over the quarter, i.e. an increase of 12% compared to the same period in 2018. This increase is mainly due to the uptake over the whole quarter of the 36 dwellings of the "Bois Nobles" Phase I neighbourhood, which had been marketed in September 2018. The various group's projects, 33 "Bois Nobles" Phase II apartments, 3,000 sqm Petit-Pont offices, the renovation of the digital campus and the fitness room, are progressing as expected.

Construction site of Texaf Digital Campus
- CARRIGRES (sandstone quarry in Kinshasa). Revenues for the 3rd quarter 2019 amount to EUR 0.8 million, i.e. double the amount over the same period of last year. The operations generate a profit.
- The new DIGITAL CAMPUS, that will open beginning 2020, is about to conclude agreements with partners that will be hosted there.
- The operating recurring result for the 2nd year-half, is still forecasted to be of the same order of magnitude as the result of the first six months, which amounted to 4.2. m EUR. On top of this, the sale to Société Nationale d'Electricité of a piece of land in Kinsuka (Kinshasa) during the 2nd year-half generates an after-tax profit of 3.8 m EUR. Overall, the net profit of the fiscal year should be between 10.5 and 11 m EUR, bar any unexpected element.
TEXAF, established in 1925, is the only listed company with all its activities in the Democratic Republic of Congo. Currently, these are concentrated on property, quarries and the digital domain. This listing on the stock exchange and the resulting obligations in terms of good governance and transparency constitute a major asset of the Group for its development and for the promotion of the formal sector in the Democratic Republic of Congo.
