Difficulties faced by Taiwanese enterprises

• The declaration of net zero in line with the government and the international standard is worthy of recognition, but the regulations, policy systems, special units, and budgets have not yet been put in place. And there has not yet been close cooperation with enterprises to create a win-win situation.

• The global carbon market mechanism will be completed in the next few years. If it is not actively integrated with international standards, it will cause domestic enterprises to lag behind in the era of carbon economy.

• Climate risk awareness is insufficient to define benefits.

• The cost is to invest in manpower and the threshold is too high. (Inventory, footprint, domestic and foreign inspection, carbon economy, etc.)

• The traditional inventory subsidy method is too small to be popularized, and it is impossible to create upstream and downstream synergies on a large scale.

• There is often a carbon reduction thinking that drifting green is greater than substance.
