電網結構-台電供電系統
Power Grid Structure - Taipower Power Supply System
- Electricity generated by large-scale power plants within Taipower's supply system is first stepped up to Extra-high voltage levels of 345 kV via transformers, and then transmitted through highvoltage transmission lines.
- Electricity is subsequently stepped down to 161 kV and 69 kV at Extra-high voltage substations and primary substations to supply large industrial and commercial users.
- Through distribution substations, secondary substations, and distribution networks, voltage is further reduced to supply general consumers and residential users.

UPS to PDU / Busway (External Rack Cabling): The UPS output routes to row-level PDUs, RPPs, or main busways, which then distribute power to each AI rack. This stage mainly uses 0.6/1kV flame-retardant power cables or prefabricated cable assemblies, engineered to support 3-phase 400V/480V and future 800V DC architectures.

CDU Cabling & Piping: This primarily refers to the power cables and coolant lines connecting external sources to the CDU unit. Since the CDU is usually installed inside the rack, it simultaneously bridges both the "inside and outside" of the rack.

Inside AI racks, power cables are the main solution for high-current electronic connectors, supporting high-power requirements like 400A to cope with intense server power consumption. These cables often feature high-temperature insulation to upgrade heat resistance and insulation performance during high-speed computing, replacing traditional PE materials. This design is applied in NVIDIA’s GB200 and GB300 NVL72 racks, where each cabinet utilizes around 10,000 lines.
