INTENT TO REJECT TAKEOVER OFFER
Continuation Investments Limited (ASX: COT) advises that, including the Board of Directors, it has received written confirmation that shareholders controlling not less than approximately 57.1% of the capital of COT intend to REJECT the offer under the bid in full in the absence of a superior proposal . Those shareholders that have consented to being named, together with their holdings, are referenced below.
Accordingly, COT notes that based on the Bidders Statement lodged 25 November 2013 with ASX, DMX cannot meet a key condition of obtaining a minimum 50.1% acceptance from shareholders with respect to the proposal.
The Company expects further similar confirmations to reject the proposal from its shareholders and will update the market in this respect.
