INTENT TO REJECT TAKEOVER OFFER - UPDATE
Reference is made to the announcement made by Continuation Investments Limited (ASX: COT) on 6 December 2013 where the Company advised that including the Board of Directors, it had received written confirmation that shareholders controlling not less than approximately 57.1% of the capital of COT intend to REJECT the offer under the bid in full in the absence of a superior proposal .
The Company now advises that it has received further written confirmations such that shareholders controlling not less than approximately 65.4% of the capital of COT intend to REJECT the offer under the bid in full in the absence of a superior proposal . Those shareholders that have consented to being named, together with their holdings, are referenced below.
Accordingly, as noted previously, based on the Bidders Statement lodged 25 November 2013 with ASX, DMX cannot meet a key condition of obtaining a minimum 50.1% acceptance from shareholders with respect to the proposal.
