Appointment of Managing Director

At a Board meeting of the company held today it was resolved to appoint Mr Mark Thomas to the office of Director. Mark will act as the Managing Director of the Company.

A brief outline of the qualifications and experience of Mark are detailed below.

Mark has over seventeen years' experience in the industry as an investment analyst. He began life as a research analyst with a dealer group in 1988 and joined van Eyk Research Limited* (van Eyk) in 1990, where he held senior research and asset consulting positions. Mark has been a Director since 1994 and is a major shareholder of van Eyk Research. He holds a Bachelor of Business in Finance and Economics from the University of Technology, Sydney.

The election of Mark onto the board as Managing Director reflects van Eyk's commitment and greater involvement in the ongoing business strategies of van Eyk Three Pillars Limited.
