AMENDMENT - APPLICATION TO LIST SHARES

Further to the announcement made on 15 May 2013 RNS Number 7634E, an application has been made for the listing of 95,000 Ordinary Shares, rather than the block listing of 95,000 Ordinary Shares. The full text reads as follows:

Application has been made for the listing of 95,000 Ordinary Shares of 5 pence each to the Official List of the UK Listing Authority and to trade on the London Stock Exchange's main market for listed securities.

Application has also been made for the admission of these shares to the Official List and to trade on the Main Securities Market of the Irish Stock Exchange.

These shares are allotted pursuant to the Tesco Ireland Share Bonus Scheme.

The shares rank equally with the existing issued Ordinary Shares of Tesco PLC.
