Release of shares from the Tesco PLC Performance Share Plan 2011 (PSP)
On 13 August 2021, Gerry Mallon, a member of the Company's Executive Committee, received 99,412 Ordinary shares of 6 1/3 pence each in the Company upon their release from a share award granted on 13 August 2018 under the rules of the PSP.
This represents the gross number of shares released including dividend equivalent shares which have accrued between grant and release. Of those shares released, 47,718 shares have been withheld to cover Income Tax and National Insurance Contributions due on release. The net shares have been transferred to Gerry and are subject to a post-vesting holding period until 13 August 2023.
The share price on release was 242.95 pence per share.
