NON-EXECUTIVE BOARD CHANGES

Tesco PLC today announces that Patrick Cescau, Senior Independent Director, has decided to retire from the Board on 7 April 2015 following six years as a Non-executive Director, and having successfully led the search for the Company's new Chairman.

Richard Cousins will become the new Senior Independent Director with effect from 7 April 2015, and will join the Nominations Committee at that time.

John Allan, Chairman, said: "On behalf of the Board, I would like to take this opportunity to thank Patrick for his immense contribution to the business over the past 6 years, and I wish him well in his future ventures.  We will be sorry to see him leave."
