NEW MANAGING DIRECTOR FOR TER BEKE

Today, Marc Hofman, CEO of Ter Beke, announced that he accepted the CFO position at Colruyt Group and that, as a consequence, he resigns with immediate effect as Managing director and Chairman of the Executive Committee at Ter Beke.

The Board of Directors decided to appoint one of its members, Dirk Goeminne, as CEO ad interim.

Dirk Goeminne is a member of the board of directors since May 2011 and also a member of the audit committee as of 2012. He is 57, married and a father of three. He studied Applied Economic Sciences and Commercial Engineer in Antwerp and started his career as auditor at Price Waterhouse. As of 1979, he held the general manager position in several companies and industries. Between 1997 and 2003, het was CEO and Chairman of the Dutch retail chain Hema. Until 2007, he was Chairman of Vroom&Dreesman, the biggest retail chain in the Netherlands, and of La Place, the biggest restaurant chain in the Netherlands. Today, he holds director mandates in Van de Velde Group, Wereldhave Belgium NV, Uitgeverij Lannoo and in the Netherlands at Stern Group and Beter Bed Holding. His proven entrepreneurship, combined with his financial experience, his experience in the retail business and his international experience, make him perfectly suitable for the position of CEO ad interim.

Marc Hofman will be available until March 31st 2013 to assist Dirk Goeminne and Ter Beke in this transition period.
