Summary

Tempest Minerals Ltd (TEM) advises it has commenced a program of auger sampling at its 100% owned Range Project to gather high priority subsurface geochemistry in the southern half of the project area.

With the recent gold in rock chips at a number of prospects aligning with newly understood geological prospectivity, the Company is progressing gold exploration in the area and further definition of drill targets at the project.

This work is in addition to the planned ~1,500m reverse circulation drilling program, of which preparation is nearing completion.

Range Project

Background

The Range project is 20km[2 ] of highly prospective ground sitting within the greater Mt Magnet region which is a premier multi-million-ounce gold mining centre with numerous large-scale, long-life open pit and underground mines currently in operation. The Range Project sits within 5km of major mining houses as well as recent high profile exploration successes [1][2][3][4] .

TEM has been exploring the Range project for some time, including analysing historical data leading to a number of exploration prospects being generated [5] . TEM previously discovered gold and tourmaline-bearing felsic volcanics along strike from the adjacent Britannia Open Pit [6] known as the Wrangler Target, and this is among the current high-priority drill targets being planned by TEM.

Recent fieldwork identified a number of gold exploration targets along a 7km strike length, which are being progressed through mapping, geochemical sampling, mineralogical analyses and drill planning. The targets are located in several different geological settings [7 ] .

Additionally, gold rock chips from the Cherokee Prospect yielded grades of up to 1gpt gold which has increased the strike length of prospective mineralisation to approximately 1km [8 ] . This has opened the possibility of further prospects along strike to the south as outlined in the recent geological reinterpretation.

Field Programs

Auger Sampling

TEM has a number of field programs planned at the Range Project for the remainder of 2025. The Company has commenced a broad subsurface auger sampling testing the southern portion of the project (as shown in Figure 01).

It is expected that this program will provide a stronger geological understanding in areas where surficial cover do not allow direct outcrop observation and the resulting geochemistry will rapidly progress further drill target generation and definition at the project.

RC Drilling

The reverse circulation drill program [9 ] is expected to commence in the coming days. This program is primarily to drill test the Wrangler and several other possible mineralised target zones.
