AUSTAR NOTES ACCC PROPOSED ANNOUNCEMENT DATE

AUSTAR United Communications Limited (ASX: AUN) ( AUSTAR ) notes the update to the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission’s ( ACCC ) website that it proposes to announce its decision on the proposed acquisition of AUSTAR by FOXTEL Management Pty Limited ( FOXTEL ) on the 10[th] of April 2012.
