Holly Kramer to join the Telstra Board as Elana Rubin AM retires

Friday, 20 March 2026: Chair Craig Dunn today announced Holly Kramer has been appointed as a non-Executive Director to the Telstra Board, and will also chair Telstra’s People and Remuneration Committee.

“Holly is widely respected and exceptionally well-credentialled, bringing a broad range of executive and non-executive leadership experience across retail, banking, media, academia and the public sector," said Mr Dunn.

"Holly also brings understanding of the telecommunications market through her ten years in executive roles with Telstra up to 2009."

Ms Kramer sits on the boards of ANZ and Fonterra, is President of the Commonwealth Remuneration Tribunal and Chair of the McKinnon Foundation. She has a BA (Hons) in Political Science from Yale and an MBA from Georgetown.

Ms Kramer's appointment to the Board will be effective 20 March 2026 and she will stand for election at the Telstra Annual General Meeting in October.

Mr Dunn also announced current Director and Chair of the People and Remuneration Committee, Elana Rubin AM, had announced her retirement from the Board, effective 20 March.

Elana has served 6 years as a director since being appointed to the Board in February 2020 and has been Chair of the People and Remuneration Committee since February 2022.

Mr Dunn thanked Ms Rubin for her very significant contribution to the company through a period that saw Telstra return to growth, while continuing to invest heavily in its network and service proposition to its customers.

“Elana deeply understands the critical role we play in connecting people, communities and businesses across Australia and the importance of Telstra remaining a global leader in telecommunications technology and innovation, and the Board benefitted greatly from her valuable insights, healthy challenge and wisdom.

“As Chair of the People and Remuneration Committee, Elana played a key role in revamping our approach to executive remuneration, and supporting enhancements to our culture, talent and safe working environment for our people.

"I wish Elana all the best on behalf of the Board and thank her for her substantial contribution, judgement and advice.”
