Telia Soneras dotterbolag Kcell har meddelat sin avsikt att genomföra en börsintroduktion i London och Almaty

Kcell, den ledande leverantören av mobila kommunikationstjänster i Kazakstan, har idag meddelat att de kommer att genomföra en börsintroduktion avseende sina aktier i form av globala depåbevis (GDR:er) samt som stamaktier i Kazakstan.

Erbjudandet utgörs av en försäljning av befintliga aktier vilka innehas av Sonera Holding B.V., ett av TeliaSonera AB helägt dotterbolag, omfattande upp till 25 % av aktierna i Kcell.

– Kcell är en viktig del av vår internationella verksamhet och ett av TeliaSoneras mest framgångsrika dotterbolag, säger Lars Nyberg, verkställande direktör och koncernchef för TeliaSonera. Vi står helhjärtat bakom Kcell som kommer att kunna fortsätta att dra fördel av vår globala varumärkesidentitet, delta i samarbeten inom internationell roaming och gemensamma teknikinitiativ, inklusive gemensamma upphandlingar inom TeliaSonera-koncernen. Vi kommer att samarbeta med Kcell för att säkerställa att företaget följer internationell praxis när det gäller bolagsstyrning och samhällsansvar i övergången till att bli ett börsnoterat företag.
