AGREEMENT SIGNED BETWEEN TF1 GROUP AND FRENCH FILM INDUSTRY BODIES

TF1 group and the French film industry bodies belonging to BLIC*, BLOC** and ARP are delighted to announce that they have today signed a new agreement.

The agreement, which runs for the next three years, will strengthen TF1 group's support for the French film industry, and modernise the Group's film rights in light of changes in viewing habits.

This balanced agreement reflects a shared ambition to strengthen the sector by engaging in industry-wide negotiations to deliver positive partnerships that address not only the economic challenges facing broadcasters, but also the modernisation of film rights needed to support TF1 group's digital transformation.

It also builds on the relationship of trust between TF1 group and the French film industry, and our joint commitment to support French and European film-making in all its diversity.

What the new agreement involves:

• An increase in TF1 group's investment in pre-buying and buying new French and European films, with the investment obligation raised from 3.5% to 3.65% of total net broadcasting revenues. In addition, purchases of broadcasting rights for French and European films will still be able to represent up to 20% of the obligation.

• Increased commitment to production on the part of TF1 group, which will pre-finance on average a minimum of 19 European or original French films a year.

• Wider exposure of films on the TF1+ free streaming platform: under the new agreement, prefinance films will be available to view in replay for 30 days rather than 7 days.

• Independently of its regulatory obligation to invest, a reaffirmation of TF1 group's support in the form of rights buying, with a minimum annual spend of €19.2 million on European or original French films.
