GVO, d.o.o., Becomes the Sole Owner of OPTIC-TEL telekomunikacije d.o.o.

Pursuant to paragraph 1 of Article 17 of the Regulation (EU) No 596/2014 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 16 April 2014 on market abuse (market abuse regulation) and repealing Directive 2003/6/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council and Commission Directives 2003/124/EC, 2003/125/EC and 2004/72/EC, Article 136 of the Financial Instruments Market Act, Rules of the Ljubljana Stock Exchange and the valid legislation, Telekom Slovenije, d.d., Cigaletova 15, Ljubljana, hereby publishes the following notification:

GVO, d.o.o., and the sole owner of OPTIC-TEL telekomunikacije, d.o.o., agreed that GVO, d.o.o., would acquire a 100% share in OPTIC-TEL. As soon as all suspensive conditions specified in the Acquisition Agreement were met, the procedures for transferring the ownership were initiated and on 20 December 2017 the change of ownership was entered into the court register. The acquired company will become a part of Telekom Slovenije Group.

The transaction makes GVO, d.o.o., the sole owner of the company, which assumed and will continue conducting activities on the Južna Primorska open access network, which includes open backbone and access networks that provide bitstream broadband access to people in the municipalities of Komen, Sežana, Hrpelje-Kozina and Ilirska Bistrica, enabling them to use broadband services provided by service providers who conclude agreements with the network operator.

This notification will also be available on the company’s website (www.telekom.si) for at least 5 years.
