Refinancing a long-term syndicated loan

Pursuant to the provisions of the Rules of the Ljubljana Stock Exchange and the valid legislation, Telekom Slovenije, d.d., Cigaletova 15, Ljubljana, hereby informs the public that on Thursday, 21 December 2023 it concluded a Loan agreement for refinancing the long-term syndicated loan in the amount of EUR 100 million with Nova Ljubljanska banka, d.d., and SID - Slovenska izvozna in razvojna banka, d.d. The agreement comes into effect on 29 December 2023 and shall be in effect until 31 December 2030.

Boštjan Košak, President of the Management Board of Telekom Slovenije: “By signing the loan agreement Telekom Slovenije has ensured stable long-term financing resources and the required financial means to realise its ambitious and development-oriented strategy. We are satisfied to work with reliable partners, such as NLB and SID Bank. Telekom Slovenije is the cornerstone of infrastructure of the Slovenian society, and our development will continue to be based on state-of-the-art technologies, modernising the network, and ensuring secure and reliable services, all the while carefully adhering to all sustainable aspects of operation.”

Blaž Brodnjak, President of the Management Board of NLB: “With today’s conclusion of the agreement NLB has upgraded our long-term partnership with Telekom Slovenije. We are exceptionally glad and proud to be able to collaborate with key companies in Slovenia as well as the region, helping create a better future.”

Borut Jamnik, President of the Management Board of SID Bank: “By concluding this agreement SID Bank is strengthening its long-term partnership with Telekom Slovenije, and also opening new opportunities for the company that will contribute to further growth. With its financial and professional support for such projects SID Bank is actively pursuing its mission of encouraging a competitive and sustainable development of Slovenia.”

The announcement will also be available on the company’s website (www.telekom.si) for a period of at least 5 years.
