TIM: GOLDEN POWER APPROVAL FOR NETCO OPERATION RECEIVED

Rome, 17 January 2024

TIM, as part of the activities finalized to the closing of the agreement for the sale of NetCo and following the transaction agreement signed with Optics BidCo (a subsidiary of Kohlberg Kravis Roberts & Co. L.P. "KKR"), announces that it has received approval to execute the transaction pursuant to the Golden Power legislation.

The authorization measure, by which the Council of Ministers exercised its special powers in the form of prescriptions only, adopted the commitments presented in the course of the procedure. These commitments were deemed by the Government to be fully adequate to guarantee the protection of the strategic interests connected with the assets involved in the transaction.
