TIM: COURT OF CASSATION CONFIRMS REFUND OF 1998 LICENSE FEE, EXPECTED A REFUND SLIGHTLY HIGHER THAN €1 BILLION

TIM announces that it has today received notification of the Court of Cassation's ruling confirming the refund of the license fee claimed for 1998, thus ending a dispute that has lasted over 20 years.

Italy's Supreme Court ruling has rejected the appeal filed by the Presidency of the Council of Ministers and definitively confirms the decision of the Court of Appeal of Rome of April 2024.

The amount due is equal to the original license fee, slightly more than 500 million euros, plus revaluation and accrued interest, for a total of just over 1 billion euros.
