TIM: RESIGNATION OF DIRECTOR LUCA DE MEO

Rome, 27 September 2022

TIM announces that the independent director Luca de Meo has resigned today effective as of the end of the Board of Directors meeting called for next Thursday (29 September).

Mr de Meo has expressed his sincere regret about this decision, which was driven by the direct commitment that he must now make to the in-depth transformation of the Renault Group, this commitment would not allow him to make an adequate contribution to the challenges that TIM is facing.

The Nomination and Remuneration Committee will carry out its preliminary work to co-opt a new Director to replace Mr de Meo.

As of today, Luca de Meo does not own TIM ordinary and savings shares.

The Group expresses its heartfelt thanks to Luca de Meo for the profitable work he has carried out to date within TIM's boards and committees.
