Birdstep receives Orbyte upgrade order from major European mobile operator

(Stockholm, October 18, 2010) Birdstep Technology has

received an Orbyte upgrade order from a major

European mobile operator. The purchase order value is

NOK 1.4 million.

The ordered consists of Orbyte 4G-edition and 90

access gateways OAG1200 and will be delivered during

December of this year. The solution will deliver a

data service to consumers with a quality and capacity

similar to LTE. The Orbyte 4G-edition WiFi solution

will be used to off-load the 3G and LTE networks for

bundled user subscriptions.
