Birdstep Expands & Signs EasyConnect Agreement with Elisa Finland & Estonia, respectively

(Oslo, October 5, 2010) Birdstep Technology ASA has

signed a new agreement for EasyConnect with Elisa

Estonia and also expanded its existing one with Elisa

Finland.

Birdstep Technology, a leading provider of wireless

connectivity and security software, has signed an

agreement for deploying EasyConnect Advanced (BEC 2.9

Advanced) with Elisa Estonia, a mobile operator in

Estonia for its recently launched mobile broadband

product. This means that all future and existing

customers for Elisa Estonia will use EasyConnect when

connecting.

In addition Elisa Finland has further expanded their

cooperation with Birdstep, and ordered an upgrade of

their current dashboard to the latest release, BEC 2.9

Advanced.

Birdstep estimates the revenue for this combined deal

to be NOK 4 million over a 2 year period.

EasyConnect will be customized for Elisa Finland and

Elisa Estonia, pre-installed on USB mobile broadband

devices for pre-paid and post-paid solutions and sold

through Elisa's direct and indirect sales channels in

Finland and Estonia.
