Above 200 000 EasyConnect activations in July

(Oslo, Aug 10, 2010) Birdstep Technology ASA reported
201 615 EasyConnect activations in July 2010.
201 615 new customers activated their EasyConnect
software in July 2010 compared to 184 974 in July
2009. The July activation figure represents a 9% year
on year increase compared to July 2009 and 9%
sequential increase compared to June 2010.
The activations apply to EasyConnect Go and
EasyConnect Advanced products, Birdstep Technology's
solutions for mobile broadband connectivity through
USB modems. Birdstep Technology's embedded solution
for laptop manufacturers, EasyConnect Inside, is not
included in the figures.

Birdstep Technology reports EasyConnect Go and
Advanced activations monthly, in order to provide
increased transparency to the financial market. The
report is disclosed the 10th every month or the first
trading day following the 10th.
