EasyConnect Inside agreement with North American Service Provider

(Oslo, July 13th, 2010) Birdstep Technology, a leading

provider of wireless connectivity and security

software, has signed an agreement for EasyConnect

Inside with a North American Service Provider.

Birdstep estimates the revenue for the first 18 months

to amount to 3.5 million NOK.

Drawing on experience from over 40 operator

deployments, close to 10 OEM partners and more than 4

million end-users worldwide Birdstep is pleased to

enter the North American Service Provider space.

EasyConnect Inside will be customized and branded for

the Service Provider, embedded on multiple laptop

models, and supporting end-user activation on

different mobile operators' networks.

EasyConnect Inside is an embedded and customizable

connection management software solution for laptops

and mobile devices, providing an improved mobile

broadband user experience.

Birdstep has amended its IR policy regarding contract

awards in EasyConnect and will, to the extent

possible, provide an estimate on contract value.
