Birdstep wins service contract for Orbyte in Middle East

(Oslo, May 24, 2010) Birdstep Technology has been awarded a service contract for Orbyte in Middle East. The value of the one year agreement is 1,0 MNOK.

Birdstep has signed a one year service contract with a world leading provider of telecommunication technology and services. The agreement includes support-, maintenance- and field engineering services to maintain the Orbyte-based wireless broadband service of a Middle Eastern operator.

Orbyte is a carrier-grade proven, highly scalable service and access management system for broadband network operators and service providers. The end-to-end system allows network operators to rapidly deploy and manage large networks with advanced features for subscriber authentication, accounting and service management.
