Birdstep wins major policy management deal

(Oslo, March 1 2010) Birdstep Technology ASA has been awarded an extension of an existing policy management contract from 3 Scandinavia. The contract value is 1,6 MNOK.

Birdstep's business segment Orbyte has been awarded an extension of an existing contract to deliver a solution for policy management to 3 Scandinavia. The value of the contract is 1,6 MNOK. Birdstep's Mobile Data Policy Engine (MDPE) is a policy controller that allows dynamic control and single point management of the mobile data network.

In order to provide increased transparency to the financial market Birdstep Technology ASA issues stock exchange announcements for contracts exceeding Euro 100,000 in value.
