24 September 2025: Karbon Invest AS ("Karbon Invest") has today acquired 173,913 shares in Techstep ASA (the "Company") from Rugz AS.

Following completion of the transfer, Karbon Invest holds 5,329,459 shares in the Company, comprising 15.49% of the outstanding shares and votes in the Company. Consequently, Karbon Invest has crossed the mandatory notification threshold of 15% set out in section 4-2 of the Norwegian Securities Trading Act.

The transfer to Karbon Invest AS is made to consolidate Mr. Rugseth's share ownership in the Company and does not entail a realization of the value of the shares or any change in Mr. Rugseth's indirect ownership in the Company. Karbon Invest is represented on the Board of Directors in the Company by Jens Rugseth. Karbon Invest is indirectly controlled by Jens Rugseth. Karbon Invest is directly controlled by Rugz AS and Rugz II AS, companies directly controlled by Mr. Rugseth.
