Birdstep Technology ASA (BIRD) - Mandatory notification of trade

In connection with a private placement in Birdstep

Technology ASA («BIRD») as described in a stock

exchange announcement from BIRD today, Middelborg

Invest AS has subscribed 34,000,000 shares.

Following the Private Placement, Middelborg Invest AS

will own 45,080,402 shares in BIRD, representing

33.24% of the shares and votes. The number of shares

will be changed to 4,508,040 after completion of the

previously announced 10:1 share consolidation that

will become effective on 11 March 2016.

This notification is made with reference to Sections

4-2 and 4-3 of the Norwegian Securities Trading Act.
