Information Memorandum regarding Sale of Service Factory AB (Orbyte) and Equity Stake in Aptilo Networks AB

Oslo, Norway - February 7, 2011

Reference is made to the stock exchange notices dated

4th and 5th January 2011 in relation to the sale by

Birdstep Technology ASA (OSE: BIRD) of its subsidiary

Service Factory AB (Orbyte) to Aptilo Networks AB and

its 32.64 % equity stake in Aptilo Networks AB to the

Norwegian private equity firm Norvestor V L.P., for a

total gross value of approximately NOK 52 million.

Please find attached the Information Memorandum in

connection with the divestments of these non-core

assets - cf. the Continuing Obligations of stock

exchange listed companies section 3.5.
