Techstep appoints Børge Astrup as new CEO

(Oslo, Norway, 2 July 2021) Techstep today announced the appointment of Børge

Astrup, an experienced software services leader and entrepreneur, as CEO

effective from 1 August 2021.

"This is an important step for accelerating sales growth and our transformation

into a software-driven company. Børge Astrup brings with him an entrepreneurial

spirit, a strong sales leadership track record and substantial experience from

developing and commercializing software and mobile services across Europe," said

Jens Rugseth, chair of Techstep's board of directors. "Making work mobile at

scale in an easy, secure, and sustainable way represent a big value creation

opportunity and Techstep aims to be a leader within the field of Managed

Mobility Services (MMS) in the Nordics and expanding into Europe. Børge has all

the right capabilities to execute our long-term growth strategy."

Børge Astrup comes from the position as CEO of Puzzel, a fast-growing cloud

contact center software (CCaaS) company with an industry leading product

platform. Puzzel operates in eight countries, has a global customer base, over

200 employees and annual revenue exceeding USD 40 million. He led Puzzel's

demerger from Intelecom Group, a Norwegian telecom, contact center and mobile

services provider, launching Puzzel as a stand-alone company. Prior to the

demerger, Børge was the managing director of Intelecom Group. He has also held

various management positions at Visma, the leading European provider of core

business software.

"I am excited to join Techstep as the company is transforming into a cloud-based

software and services company with a clear ambition to expand geographically and

deliver strong growth," said Børge Astrup, Techstep's new CEO. "The unique MMS

position represents a very attractive exposure to the rapid digital

transformation of society and ongoing mobile revolution. I look forward to

getting to know the team and customers and make sure that we deliver value

-adding services and strong results for our customers, employees, partners and

shareholders".

Techstep's current CEO Jens Haviken will step down with immediate effect and

Techstep's CFO Marius Drefvelin will be acting CEO until Børge Astrup takes over

on 1 August.

"Jens has led Techstep through a very important period of the company's

development and has over the last years overseen the successful acquisition and

integration of multiple companies, consolidated the company's MMS position in

the Nordics and together with the board established a clear strategic roadmap

for growth and value creation. He is handing over a Techstep prepared for

growth. The board would like to thank Jens for his contributions and

dedication," said Jens Rugseth.

"Techstep's mission is making work mobile and improve how companies,

organizations and workers leverage mobility. I truly appreciate the years with

such a great team, our customers and partners and look forward to seeing

Techstep realizing that mission and deliver on its strategic roadmap," said Jens

Haviken, Techstep's CEO over the last three years.
