Ian Jenks appointed Chairman of the Board of Birdstep Technology ASA

(Oslo, November 16 2015. Birdstep Technology ASA today

announced the appointment of industry veteran Ian Jenks as

the Company's Chairman of the Board.)

Ian Jenks was formerly a non executive board member of

Birdstep Technology ASA and brings considerable experience

with leading edge technology businesses to his new role.

Jenks has over 30 years experience of growing leading edge

technology businesses in the USA and Europe. He is currently

the Senior Independent Director of AIM listed Paysafe

Limited (PAYS) and a board director of venture backed

companies Econic Technologies Ltd, Nexeon Ltd , Seren

Photonics Ltd and Smartkem Ltd. Earlier in his career, he

was President - Lasers and Fibre Optics at JDS Uniphase Inc.

(JDSU), Chairman of Oplink Communications Inc. (OPLK),

Executive Chairman of Evo Electric, Chairman of Quantasol

and a Partner in Crescendo Ventures LLP. Ian has a degree in

Aeronautical Engineering from the University of Bristol.
